- Following the rest day the action continues tonight in the World Cup with New Zealand taking on Sri Lanka while England play Ireland.
- The New Zealand v Sri Lanka clash is significant. Whichever team loses that match will see their chances of making the finals diminish substantially. There is much riding on this game for both teams.

- Rwanda have taken a clear lead on the ladder in the Kwibuka tournament with victories over Malawi and Zimbabwe overnight. Brazil joined Nigeria in third place after defeating the Female Yellow Greens. (scores below) The tournament continues on Wednesday.
- Rwanda’s Henriette Ishimwe has now played 132 consecutive games, the most by any player. (In second spot, with 124 is Bangladesh’s Nigar Sultana) Henriette is now in third place in the all time wicket takers in T20 Internationals with 161.
