Talkin’ about women’s cricket
Botswana’s first match since gaining T20 International status was against Lesotho in August 2018, under captain Laura Mophakedi.
Like so many nations, Botswana gained T20 International status from the ICC in April 2018 and all matches post July 1 of that year have been recognised as such. Laura Mophakedi, also the team’s wicket keeper, has played in all but one of those matches and is also the all-time leading run scorer.
