A right-hand batter and right-arm medium-fast bowler, Laura made her debut on the international stage when she represented Brasil in the ICC Americas World T20 Qualifiers in Mexico in November 2021 at just sixteen years of age.

She tore up the series with the ball and was named the bowler of the tournament, the high point being her final over against Canada where the team took five consecutive wickets. Sandwiched in the middle of two runouts, Laura took a hat-trick. She was the leading wicket taker with 11 wickets at 4.54 runs per wicket.

Laura took part in the inaugural FairBreak tournament staged in Dubai in May of 2022 and in June travels to Rwanda where Brasil will play seven other nations in the Kwibuka tournament.
