Born March 2nd 2002 in Uyo, is current T20 International player for Nigeria, Salome Sunday.
Salome made her T20 International debut in 2019 aged just seventeen in a match against Rwanda at Kigali. The young allrounder scored 25 with the bat, top score for Nigeria, then took 3-20 with her medium pacers. It marked the beginning of a promising career.
Since that debut Salome has scored over 300 runs in T20 Internationals, making her only the second player to have passed that mark for Nigeria, after captain Blessing Etim.
In March of 2022, Salome turned twenty, so there is still a long career ahead for this talented cricketer.
