T20 World Cup 2010

The second edition of the T20 World Cup was held in the Caribbean in 2010, with final held at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Eight teams qualified and were divided into two groups of four. Australia and West Indies finished atop Pool A, while New Zealand and India did likewise in Pool B, enabling all four teams to progress to the semi finals.

Most runs were scored by New Zealand’s Sara McGlashan (147) while the top wicket takers were India’s Diana David and New Zealand’s Nicola Browne, both with 9 each. Nicola Browne was named Player of the Tournament.
