  • The rain tumbled in Kigali overnight and had an impact on the second game, between Italy and Vanuatu. The Italians won a high scoring match by 8 runs (DLS) Wins to both Italy and Nepal keep their hopes alive of winning the trophy. (Scores below).
  • Despite being at the bottom of the ladder of the ICC Challenge Trophy, Vanuatu players dominate the runs and wickets tally. Leading wicket taker is Vanessa Vira with 15, while top run scorer is Valenta Langiatu with 216.
  • Sri Lanka made a confident start to the T20 International series against Bangladesh, winning by 25 runs. The 297 run aggregate by the teams is the highest total score between them in T20 Internationals.
