Born on 6th June 1997 in Jinja, Uganda, former captain and current player for the Victoria Pearls, Kevin Awino.
The wicket keeper and opening batter has played in over 100 T20 Internationals since Uganda gained T20I status from the ICC in 2018. Since then she has snapped up 75 victims, 47 caught and 28 stumped.
Kevin, who opens the batting, made her highest score of 95 not out against Germany at the Kwibuka Tournament in June 2022. She has 1014 runs to date – only the fourth Ugandan to pass 1000 runs. .
