Born on 15th February 2005 in Kuala Lumpur, current T20 International player for Malaysia, Elsa Hunter (aka Siow Tzin Yee).
Residing in Sydney, Australia, Elsa made her debut for Malaysia at the age of 13 against Nepal in Bangkok on 13th January 2019. Elsa top scored for Malaysia with 12 runs in a team total of 61. She’s since made three half centuries with a top score of 69* against Nepal at Kuala Lumpur in April 2024.
Elsa has been steadily making her way through the junior ranks of NSW and also grade cricket. It’s no surprise that this talented youngster is now playing for the Sydney Sixers in the WBBL.
