Born on April 3rd 1964 in Delhi, Shashi Gupta is former Test and ODI player for India representing her country in 33 international matches.
A right-hand batter and right-arm medium pace bowler, Shashi played in thirteen Tests, her debut against the visiting Australians in 1983/84. She scored 452 runs with a high score of 48* and took 25 wickets with a best of 4-47, best match figures of 8-100.
In 20 ODIs Shashi scored 263 runs with a top score of 50* and took 15 wickets with a best of 3-17. In her ODI career Shashi also appeared in the 1993 World Cup.
