Georgia Wareham

Born on 26th May 1999 in Terang, Victoria, current Test, ODI and T20 International player for Australia, Georgia Lee Wareham.

“Wolfie”, as she is popularly known made her debut in T20 cricket for the Melbourne Renegades in the WBBL in 2015/16. The 16 year old leg-break bowler bowled took 0-10 from her only over. In that team plenty of spin bowlers to learn from. South Africa captain Dane van Niekirk, Sophie Molineaux, and Molly Strano. Georgia has played her entire WBBL career with the Renegades so far.

In 2017/18 Georgia was selected for Victoria in their 50 over team, and a year later selected for Australia in both white ball formats. She made her T20 International debut against New Zealand at North Sydney Oval in September 2018 and took the wicket of Jess Watkin. She made her ODI debut against Pakistan in Kuala Lumpur in October 2018 taking 2-22, including the wicket of captain Javeria Khan.

In over 50 ODIs she has taken 55 wickets at 25.96 with a best of 3-23 against India at Wankhede Stadium in January 2024. Georgia played in the 2025 World Cup in India.

In 75 T20Is Georgia has taken 74 wickets at 16.52 runs per wicket at a strike rate of 16.10. Her best of 3-11 came against England at Adelaide Oval in January 2025. She has already featured in four T20I World Cups.
