News in brief
- Pakistan has taken a 2-0 lead in the T20 International series against Zimbabwe following their win in the second match overnight. The third and final match will be played later toady in Karachi.
- Former England keeper Sarah Taylor has been appointed as the England men’s Test fielding coach for the forthcoming series against New Zealand, following prior stints in men’s cricket with Sussex and Manchester Originals.
- Asian Games Qualifiers get underway later this month in Kuala Lumpur. Competing will be Hong Kong, Nepal, Indonesia, China, Qatar and Thailand.
- In preparation for the World Cup, Scotland will host a tri-series in Edinburgh later this month, with Netherlands and Bangladesh.
- Likewise, in Dublin, similar World Cup preparation with a tri-series between Ireland, Pakistan and West Indies, taking place from the 28th May.
