Rachel Pullar

Born on 3rd June 1977 in Balclutha, Otago, former ODI player for New Zealand, Rachel Jane Pullar was a right-arm fast medium bowler.

Rachel made her debut for Otago in 50 over cricket against Pakistan in January 1997 where she scores 20 not out with the bat and takes 2-12 with her bowling. Three weeks later she is playing for New Zealand A against Australia. She takes 1-15 with the wicket of Lisa Keightley.

In November 1997, Rachel makes her ODI debut for the White Ferns. It is the first of what will be 51 matches for New Zealand. She takes 2-40, her first international wicket being Belinda Clark. Her second, Karen Rolton.

Rachel played in two World Cup tournaments, at home in 2000/01 where the White Ferns won the title for the first time, and in South Africa 2004/05.

In her ODI career Rachel Pullar took 74 wickets at 16.48 with a best of 5-7 against South Africa at Hamilton in 1999.
