Born on 21st June 1998 in Haicheng City, Liaoning Province, T20 International player for China, Wang Meng.
Wang Meng is a right-arm fast-medium bowler who has been opening the bowling for China since 2007 and was at one stage captain of the team. Since China gained T20I status in 2018, Wang has played in nine of China’s sixteen matches.
Although she has batted in the middle order at times, Wang’s batting stats are modest, to say the least, but with the ball she really is the spearhead of the Chinese attack, taking 10 wickets at the outstanding average of 9.90 runs per wicket. Even better, an economy rate of 3.37 runs per over which is brilliant when you consider that she always bowls in the Power Play. Her best figures of 3-8 came against Japan at Incheon in 2019.Embed from Getty Images
