Andrea-Mae Zepeda

Born on October 24, 1995, former captain of the Austria women’s cricket team, Andrea-Mae Zepeda is also the leading player.

Andrea-Mae has been the long term skipper of Austria – the first to lead them into battle in T20 Internationals – but stepped back of late and is content to be the team’s leading allrounder. Letting the captaincy go has allowed her to reach new heights as a player, unburdened by the responsibility.

Already Austria’s highest run scorer, on 25th September 2021, Andrea-Mae reached a new high, scoring the first century in T20 Internationals for her country, against Belgium at the Seebarn Cricket Ground in Vienna. She followed that with scores of 65 and 84* against the same opposition. Who needs the captaincy?!

In her 24 T20Is Andrea has scored 722 runs at 38.00. She is the highest run scorer for her country and has the top five highest scores. In that time she has taken 10 wickets with a best of 3-18 against Jersey in August 2019.
