Born on 18th March 1961 in Northern Rhodesia, former Test and ODI player for Australia, Lindsay Reeler has an ODI batting average of 57.44.
A right hand top order batter, Lindsay made her debut for New South Wales in 1980/81 and her early returns were quite modest but in 1983/84 she smashed a century, 164, against the ACT. That was enough to convince the selectors to choose Lindsay in the touring team to India in 1983/84 under the captaincy of Jill Kennare.
Reeler made her ODI debut on 19th January 1984 and top scored with 60 to help Australia win the first of four matches by three wickets. Two days later she made her Test debut. Opening the batting she scored 32. For the remainder of the tour Lindsay had quite reasonable numbers but they are modest when compared to her overall record.
In ten Test matches Lindsay scored 510 runs at 39.23 with a high score of 110 not out against England at Hove. Her ODI numbers are top shelf. In 23 matches Lindsay scored 1034 runs at 57.44 with a high score of 143 not out.
