Asia Cup 2022 Preview

We have to go back to 2018 for the most recent edition of the Asia Cup, stalled and postponed by the global pandemic.

The final two places on offer for the 2023 T20 World Cup in South Africa will be decided over the next week between eight competing teams.

The tournament is organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and the top two sides will qualify for the 2022 Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup.

The United Arab Emirates were the victors in the Asia segment of the ICC World T20 Regional Qualifiers, going through undefeated.

The final regional World T20 Qualifiers commences today for Asia. Six teams will be competing for a spot in the global qualifiers
