- Four important matches later today with the World Cup warm-up matches. They are not official T20 Internationals because typically in these games all players get to run on the field and the rules can be bent a little to accommodate such. One should not read anything into these results other than who might be in form with bat or ball. The matches:
- Netherlands v Scotland at Derby; Ireland v South Africa at Loughborough; Pakistan v Sri Lanka at Derby; Bangladesh v New Zealand at Loughborough.
- Scores from the second warm-up match between Australia and South Africa below. Of significance, Ash Gardner was given the captaincy and celebrated with a half century and victory by 85 runs.

- The inaugural Champions Trophy is now scheduled for February 2027 in Sri Lanka. It will feature eight teams.
