  • Bangladesh have found some form, defeating the home team in the Scotland tri-series by 34 runs. Once again it was the skipper for the Tigresses, Nigar Sultana, showing the way with the bat. She’s had scores of 46*,  77 and 58 during this series.
  • Seven hours drive south in Taunton another south Asian skipper also score a half century. Harmanpreet Kaur scored 56 not out in India’s innings of 180/5. However it was in vain. England won the match by 6 wickets and the series 2-1.
  • The ACC Premier Cup begins today in Malaysia. Eighteen teams from Asia competing for the trophy. Look at the schedule for the next few days. It’s busy!
  • Pakistan has been named as the host for the 2028 T20 World Cup.
  • The inaugural Champions Trophy is now scheduled for February 2027 in Sri Lanka. It will feature eight teams.
