News in brief
- Malaysia take on Nepal later today in the first of two T20 Internationals as those teams prepare for the Asia Games Qualifiers which get underway on Monday. They’ll be competing against Thailand, Indonesia, Qatar and China. Key allrounder for Malaysia, Mas Elysa will celebrate her 25th birthday on the pitch today.
- That series heralds the start of an insanely busy week from Monday. We have the above mentioned Asia Games Qualifiers, plus the tri-series in Dublin featuring Ireland, Pakistan and West Indies; and the tri-series in Edinburgh between Scotland, Bangladesh and the Netherlands.
- Not to forget the England and New Zealand T20 International series starting on Wednesday. (Thursday morning in the Asia/Pacific region.)
