- Australia has defeated West Indies by 8 wickets to become the first team to play in the final of the 2026 World Cup. They will meet the winner of tomorrow’s semi final between England and South Africa.
- Ellyse Perry retired hurt for just 2 runs in the Australian innings. Apparently is was just a precaution and the player will be ok for Sunday’s final.
- An injury scare for West Indies before the game where Deandra Dottin nearly passed out during the anthems. She recovered but didn’t bat until eight.
