The UAE won this match with their excellent catching. They took everything on offer to restrict the Zimbabwe team to just 120, with Vaishnave Mahesh the star with the ball. The only player not caught out was Modester Mupachikwa who was bowled.
Even so, the Zimbabwe attack ought to have defended this total easily, but the UAE batters stood tall, a second wicket partnership between Esha Oza and Kavisha Egodage setting the team for victory despite a little wobble towards the end. With 14 needed from the final over it was Vaishnave Mahesh again, hitting a boundary off the final delivery to win the match.
