Tanzania Punish Wayward Eswatini
Fatuma Kibasu scored 127 not out as Tanzania posted the third highest score in women’s T20 Internationals as they brushed aside Eswatini.
Supported by Monica Pascal (54) and Saum Mtae (52), Kibasu scored her second century at the blistering run rate of 192.42. She was also supported by some poor bowling, one of whom, Mbali Dlamini (0-19) was removed from the attack by the umpires after just two deliveries. The fielding will be an area Eswatini will also be looking to improve in the futre.
It took the Tanzania bowlers just 11.5 overs to dismiss Eswatini for 23, recording a victory by 256 runs, the third highest in history.
