Born on 23rd March 1961 in Chatswood, NSW, former Test and ODI player for Australia, Deborah Lea Wilson.
Debbie was an out and out express bowler, right-arm, and was feared by opposition batters throughout her career. She was also a handy lower order batter with a top score of 91 not out in Tests.
She mad both her Test and ODI debut against the visiting England team in 1984/85 and was equal top wicket taker with Lyn Fullston in the Test series, takin 19 wickets.
In eleven Tests, Debbie took 48 wickets at 18.33 with two five wicket hauls (best of 5-27). Her batting deserves a mention, not just for that 91*, but the fact that she finished with a batting average of 56.66. In eleven ODIs, just the 7 wickets with a best of 2-24.
